Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals having the requisite qualification, experience, Local / Domicile and age for recruitment against the following vacant posts (BPS-01 to BPS-16) allocated to Balochistan quota in Gwadar Port Authority (GPA), Ministry of Maritime Affairs, in accordance with clause 13(2) of the Gwadar Port Authority (Employees Service) Regulations, 2020:-

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Only candidates holding Local / Domicile certificates of Balochistan are eligible to apply. Candidates must meet the prescribed qualification, experience, age and other eligibility criteria for the post applied for.
  2. 10% women, 5% minorities and 2% persons with disabilities quota shall be observed as per Federal Government instructions.
  3. Age relaxation: 05 years general age relaxation will be allowed for all posts, plus 05 years additional relaxation for candidates from Balochistan. Further relaxation will be admissible under Government policy.
  4. Government servants shall apply through proper channel.
  5. Applicants shall present original documents along with a set of attested copies of degrees / certificates issued by HEC / recognized Boards / Universities / Institutes, CNIC, Local / Domicile certificate and experience certificates at the time of interview. If any information furnished by an applicant is found fake or bogus, his / her candidature shall stand cancelled and legal action shall be taken at any stage of recruitment, and also after employment.
  6. Incomplete applications, advance copies and applications received after the closing date will not be entertained.
  7. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for walk-in interview.
  8. No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in interview / skill test.
  9. Gwadar Port Authority reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process, or increase or decrease the number of posts as per requirement, at any stage without assigning any reason.

General Information (How to apply):

  1. Recruitment will be done at the doorstep (at District level) with the help of the newly established Employment Cells in the districts of Balochistan, as a special case to ensure recruitment of residents.
  2. Interested candidates are required to submit their online applications within fifteen (15) days of publication of this advertisement through the National Job Portal (NJP) at https://njp.gov.pk/. Candidates applying for more than one post shall apply separately for each post. Direct applications, by hand, post or e-mail, to Gwadar Port Authority shall not be entertained.
  3. All recruitment (BPS-01 to BPS-16) will be done through walk-in interview (no entry or written test). A practical skill test will be held only where the nature of the post requires it, i.e. Steno Typist (shorthand / typing), Driver and Mobile Crane Driver (driving / operation).
