The Delegation of the Gwadar Port Participated in (PIMEC)

The delegation of the Gwadar Port Authority participated in Pakistan International Maritime Expo & Conference (PIMEC) from 10th to 12th February, 2023, at Expo Centre Karachi, Pakistan.

Pakistan International Maritime Expo & Conference (PIMEC), Co-organized by Pakistan Navy and Badar Expo Solutions, witnessed significant engagements, development, creation & consolidation of ‘maritime awareness’ and most importantly laying ‘foundation for the blue economy’ to jump-start economic activities in the maritime sector of Pakistan.

However, in Expo, the International Maritime Conference (IMC) was a mega event being undertaken by the National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA), which provided a platform for Maritime stakeholders, academicians, and policymakers to discuss, ideas & issues with internationally renowned scholars, practitioners and maritime experts in maritime domain as well as sharing their thoughts on the aforesaid theme. The event also afforded the opportunity for public and private stakeholders to display products and develop business relationships.
